How to find out about military contracts in your community

One place to start is http://www.governmentcontractswon.com/. It's a commercial website and we can't vouch for its reliability but it has some interesting data in the free part, which is the only part we've tried . . . Bear in mind that federal contracts are only a part of the picture, e.g. much of Woodstock's weapons components production is for subcontracts, sub-sub-contracts, private contracts and foreign sales . . .
